Salary / Pay Scale for BEL Project Engineer:-
Project Engineers in Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) will be engaged initially for a period of THREE years which may be extended upto a maximum of Four years (including initial period) based on Project requirement and individual‟s performance. Remuneration details for BEL Project Engineer are provided below –
- 1st year: ₹ 40,000/-
- 2nd year: ₹ 45,000/-
- 3rd year: ₹ 50,000/-
- 4th Year: ₹ 55,000/-
Area allowance to those candidates who will be posted to various sites and customer location will be payable @ 10% of consolidated remuneration (per month)
Rs.12,000/- per year towards insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc are also admissible to BEL Project Engineers

Age Limit for BEL Project Engineer:
For the post of Project Engineer in BEL, the age limit should be not more than 32 years for General & EWS candidates.
The upper age limit will be relaxable for OBC candidates by 03 years and SC/ST candidates by 05 years. For candidates belonging to PwBD category having minimum 40% disability or more will get 10 years‟ relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above.
Selection Process for BEL Project Engineer:
Selection process for Project Engineers in BEL is as under –
- Candidate should meet the eligibility criteria as specified in the advertisement.
- Selection will be through a Written Test followed by interview (of those who are shortlisted in the written test).
- 85% Marks will be allotted for the written test and 15% Marks for the interview.
- Candidates who pass the written test will be shortlisted for interview in the ratio of 1:5 in the order of merit, category and discipline.
- The names of candidates shortlisted for written test/interview and final selection will be notified on BEL website.
