The report also revealed that BGMI was sending data from Hongkong into Tencent’s Proxima Beta, as well as to Microsoft Azure servers located in Mumbai (US) and Moscow (US). The last year PUBGIt had to break ties with Tencent and was therefore banned.
Can it be confirmed that BGMI has sent data from Chinese Servers to BGMI?
Although claims are not denied, it is clear that China continues to receive the data. Techs from IGN placed a data sniffer inside the phone to prove this. This app shows which server the device is connecting to. They kept logs of every server that BGMI was trying to contact.
The Whois search was then performed on all servers. One of these servers was found to be being managed by China Mobile Communications Corporation. The server is located in Beijing China and this Chinese state-owned company runs it. This server received the data about the device. BGMI also pinged a Tencent server while the device was booting.
These outcomes could lead to a Battleground Mobile India Ban.
This is a sign that Krafton may be taking serious steps to correct the situation. Krafton recently claimed it had cut ties to Tencent and made it the publisher of PUBG Mobile. Krafton stated that player data security is their highest priority.
It seems, however that these events could lead to Battleground Mobile India being banned. BGM India was already banned by certain political leaders. Battleground Mobile India has not been fully launched in India yet, and we continue to see these changes. The users are very worried that both Battleground Mobile India and their data will be banned completely in India.

Confederation of All India Traders – CAIT wrote a letter to Shri Ravi Shankar Prashad (Union IT and Communication Minister) demanding to put a Ban on BGMI. They stated that it was both a danger to national sovereignty and national security as well as harmful for young people.
CAIT requested Google to also remove BGMI and prevent it from being allowed in future. Secretary-General of CAIT tweeted that “After #PUBG was banned last year [and] now they are making backdoor entry by circumventing Indian laws.”
Is the BGMI App banned?
Battleground Mobile India has not been banned as of right now. The beta version can be downloaded on Google Play Store. If there are more developments, the government might take further steps to stop it. Although Krafton may be able to prove they have not leaked any user data, this doesn’t look very promising.
